My son, I love you more than words can say. I never could have imagined how much you would change my life. Every year we have spent together has taught me more about myself and how much more I have to trust God.
Today, I spend this time thanking God for you. You are a wonderful blessing to me. Thank you for the honor of being able to be a momma. I have the responsibility to instill in you the word of God. I pray that you will not only be a hearer of the Word but a doer. May the Lord be honored through each day of your life. I know that He has great plans for you. Many people will come to know Christ through your life and example.
I thank God for His provision in my life to provide for you. I pray that even from this early age, we can be the example of a marriage and home that truly honors God. I am thankful to God, for the hope and sustain He gives your Daddy and I to keep going-to love each other-to serve Him. We are not perfect by any means. We have been through a lot. However, we refuse to give up! God is up to great things in our home. May we have an overflow of love that may encourage those around us. Daddy and I have taken a stand and God has broken us free from what our lineage represented. You and Salah are now free and stand as a new lineage.
